Fly-and-ride out of Molde, or two long days up from Oslo. Ferries take cards and motorcycles usually board first.

Where I slept
Cabins (hytte) 90–130 € for two, campsites 20–25 € with a tent. Norway is where the budget goes to die.

Riding experience
Crosswind on the bridges is the whole story. In a westerly the Storseisundet bridge will move you a lane if you are not ready for it.

The vibe
Grey, salty, and better in bad weather than in sunshine. Storm days are why people come.

What it cost
Fuel 2.05 €/l, cabin 90–130 €, a burger 22 €. Two hundred euros a day is realistic unless you camp.
