What the ferries actually cost

I budgeted for fuel and forgot the water. Six ferry crossings in nine days came to 94 €, and one of them I did twice because I misread the timetable.

Cards work everywhere, including the small crossings with one deckhand. Motorcycles board first and pay less than cars — usually 8 to 16 € depending on the fjord.

The one thing worth planning: the last sailing is earlier than you think outside July.
