Choosing the tree
We pick the species and material with a good base of trunk and roots.
Grown and styled bonsai — from pine to flowering cherry. A tree in miniature that grows for years under your hands and only gains in beauty with time.

A bonsai is a tree in miniature, not a house plant. It grows for years, is wired into shape, pruned and repotted so it keeps its proportion and looks old even in a small pot. Every tree is led its own way — trunk, branching and bark come from patience, not haste. A bonsai that outlives its keeper.

We pick the species and material with a good base of trunk and roots.
We bend the branches with soft wire into direction and let them grow on.
Regular pruning thickens the crown and keeps the miniature proportion.
We trim the roots, repot the tree into a bowl and top it with moss.

I raise the bonsai myself, tree by tree — not in a nursery by the hundred. Each is wired, pruned and repotted by where it grows, not by a catalogue. An honest bonsai is passed on and lasts generations with care; I show you how to look after it. Better to raise one tree properly than sell ten in a hurry.
