Sweet moments, that you remember.
A small vineyard pastry shop, where baking starts in the morning and you can tell from the sidewalk. Butter, cream, seasonal fruit — and nothing we wouldn't want to eat ourselves.
We bake honestly, not quickly.
We opened Malva in 2016 in a ground-floor apartment on Sázavská Street, where there used to be a haberdashery. We inherited old tiles and a large display window — and that window still pushes us to do our work so that every morning there is something in it that makes people stop.
We don't use mixtures or toppings from a bucket. We cook creams from real butter, we buy fruit according to what is ripe, and if we don't manage to bake something, it simply isn't available that day. Rather less and good.

Signature
Cheesecake
with berries
Creamy filling of white curd cheese, a delicate buttery base and a handful of fruit picked in the morning. Served while it lasts — and it doesn't last long.
What smells today
behind the shop window
The offer changes according to the season and mood. This is our permanent repertoire — come in the morning while the shelf is full.

A cake that fits your celebration
Whether it's a christening, a wedding, or "just a Tuesday", we'll make a cake according to you. We'll discuss the taste, size, and how it should look — and leave the rest to butter and time.
Write to us
How many people, by when, and what flavors you like. Feel free to send a picture for inspiration.
We'll suggest taste and appearance
We'll choose the sponge, filling, and decoration. We'll agree on the price in advance, no surprises.
We'll bake and hand over
Pick up the fresh cake at the pastry shop, or we'll deliver it within Prague. Always chilled.
Stay a little longer

Espresso that
befits the cream
We roast the beans at friends' place in Holešovice and make them so they don't overpower the pastry but complement it. Two seats by the window are almost always taken — but it's worth the wait.
Something small
to go with it
Macarons, croissants and cookies that go well with coffee to take away. Ask at the counter — what's left from the morning, we sell at half price at the end of the day.
