We're not a factory course for thirty people. There are a maximum of five students on the boat, each of them getting to know the maneuvers, knots, and night sailing. Instructors are active captains, not theorists — and they have the Adriatic and our waters under their belt.

HELM was founded by three captains who were fed up with how sailing is taught — memorizing, ticking off, and forgetting. With us, you sail from the first day. We take theory on board, between maneuvers, where it makes sense.
We have our own fleet of well-maintained sailboats 32-46 feet, a base in Marina Split, and spring/autumn courses on Lipno, so you don't have to go to the Adriatic right away.
