Černá Hora was founded in 2014 from a simple idea: Brno lacks a place where coffee is taken seriously. We roast our own beans from Rwanda, Colombia, and Ethiopia. Bakers get up at four in the morning so the croissant is fresh before you arrive. Our interior was designed by architect Markéta Voráčová — wood, terracotta, silence.

Where do you roast coffee?
Our own roastery is located on Vlhká Street, a short walk from the café. We roast 3–4 origins every week in light to medium roast. We buy the beans directly from farmers — currently we work with 6 farms in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Colombia, and Guatemala.
Do you have gluten-free or vegan options?
Yes. We offer oat milk, soy milk, and nut milk at no extra charge. The granola bowl, fruit pieces, and several sandwiches are fully vegan. We have a limited amount of gluten-free pastries every day — we recommend calling ahead.
Is there Wi-Fi? Can I come to work?
Yes, we have stable Wi-Fi (100 Mbit, password on the table). We welcome working guests — just please during peak hours (8–10 AM, 12–2 PM) free up tables for more people and don't block window seats all day with just one coffee.
Do you offer corporate orders or catering?
Yes! We supply coffee to companies on a subscription basis (weekly or monthly bean deliveries), provide catering for corporate events and workshops. Write to us at [email protected] or call.
Where exactly are you in Brno?
Find us at Kobližná 12, Brno-center (200 m from náměstí Svobody). Public transport: tram no. 1, 2, 4 stop Česká. Parking: across the street in paid blue parking zones or at Janáčkovo divadlo parking lot.
