Four generations of Prague goldsmiths. Every ring we grind, file and polish by hand — so it lasts longer than we do.

Setting the diamond is the last and quietest moment of the entire work. It decides how the stone sparkles in daylight and by candlelight.
The studio was opened by Josef Světlík in 1924, two streets from the Old New Synagogue. It went through war, nationalization, and times when almost no one wanted handmade jewelry. It stayed at the same address and in the family.
Today at the counter stands Adéla Světlíková, the granddaughter of the founder's son. She works with two journeymen and with tools, some of which date back to the First Republic. We do not pass jewelry through a production hall — they are created here, on one table, from sketch to final polishing.
Most pieces are made to order. The following photos show what is currently on the bench — and what you can have customized to your liking.
Come with an idea, an old ring from grandma, or completely empty-headed. We'll figure out the rest together over coffee.
We source gold from a certified Czech refinery, diamonds only with proof of origin according to the Kimberley Processs. For larger stones, you will also receive an international certificate. Each piece of jewelry comes with a weight certificate and warranty.
Write a few lines about what you have in mind. We'll get back to you within two working days and arrange a time in the studio — the consultation is free and non-binding.
