I'm Jan Vávra. For ten years, I've been getting up two hours before dawn and going where the buses don't go, waiting for the light that lasts a few minutes and then disappears. Each print is from one such morning — no compositing, no artificial sky. Just patience and cold fingers.
We print with pigmented inks on 100% cotton Hahnemühle, archival durability for over a hundred years. Not a poster — a collectible object.
Each motif only in 5 to 9 pieces. Signed, numbered, with a certificate of authenticity. Once sold out, it will never be reprinted.
