We take the dimensions and an imprint of your foot and discuss style, leather and use.

Every pair is built on a last made to your foot. Hand-stitched, Goodyear-welted, in leather that lasts decades — and takes repairs.
Off-the-shelf fits almost no one. First we make a wooden last exactly to your foot — and only then build the shoe on it. We stitch a Goodyear welt, so the sole can be replaced and the shoe serves for decades. Not a fashion for one season, but a pair for life.
Hover a part and see what it's made of and why. Every piece has its reason.

We lead every pair the whole way. You come for a fitting once, the rest is on us.

We make a wooden last exactly to your foot. It stays with us for future pairs.

We cut the parts, last the upper and stitch a Goodyear welt. By hand.

Sole, edge dye and polish. Then a fitting and handover.

A good shoe isn't the most expensive one. It's the one you swear by ten years on.
I learned the craft from an old master and took over his workshop and his lasts. I work small, only a few dozen pairs a year. I'd rather make fewer pairs that last than a heap for one season.
