Why wood?
Wood can be repaired. Almost nothing else in the apartment can.
A floating floor lasts ten years and then goes into the container. A solid plank or honest parquet can be sanded down, re-oiled, and continues to serve — even after three generations of tenants. That's the whole difference, and it's why we only do wood and vinyl, not disposable laminate.
Each project is led by one person from the initial measurement to the last trim. We don't pass work between crews, so you know who to call when a single plank by the window creaks in two years.

We don't do everything under the sun. But we do these things every week, and we know where the problem lies before it even occurs.

Parquet and strips
Herringbone, French herringbone, chevron. We assemble cake, browses you will never see in a prefab floating floor.

Vinyl floors
For bathrooms and underfloor heating. Water-resistant, warm to the touch, and indistinguishable from wood at first glance.

Sanding and renovation
We don't throw away old parquet under the carpet. We sand it, fill in missing pieces, and oil it — and it looks better than new.

Laying and subfloor
We level the subfloor with self-leveling compound, measure humidity, and advise on transitions. Without this boring part, every beautiful floor will start to warp within a year.

The simplest and quietest choice. Long planks optically elongate the room and the joints disappear in the direction of walking.

About the workshop
Small team, big demand for detail
We are three floor layers and one cart full of tools. We don't take ten jobs at once, because laying a proper floor requires peace — and time to let the wood acclimate in the room before we start laying.
We source material from Czech and Austrian sawmills we have worked with for years. We know which plank suits a damper ground floor and which one you'll keep for a representative living room. If you're unsure, we come with samples and lay them out right at your place in the light.
