Custom sculptures, reliefs and sacred woodcarving. Handcrafted from design to finished piece.
Every log has its own rings, its own grain direction, its own story. The carver does not dominate it — he listens to it. He cuts along the grain, not against it; where the wood works, the sculpture is guided so that any potential crack falls into the shadow. We work with linden, oak, walnut, and maple — each wood requires a different hand. From roughing with a chainsaw and large chisel to finishing with a knife and waxing. No two pieces are the same.
Select, browse sideways. Each work is one of a kind.

Pull — left a log, right a finished statue. The carver only removed what was superfluous.

Selection of log according to grain and intention — lime for figure, oak for exterior, walnut for fine sculpture.
Chainsaw and large gouge remove the largest volume. The work breaks into basic planes.
Gradual rounding, building volume and proportions according to the drawing. Smaller chisels, steadier hand.
V-chisel and knife draw hair, drapery, ornament. Facet — chisel mark — is often left.
Stain enhances the grain, oil deepens the color, wax gives a matte silky film. For sacred works, gilding.
The strongest Czech woodcarving tradition is maintained in the Podkrkonoší and Orlické hory regions — with nativity scenes that were passed down in families from generation to generation. The Třebechovice nativity scene, an all-wooden mechanical work by three carvers from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, is today a national cultural monument. We adhere to this humility and honesty.
