Gathering
The glassmaker dips the blowpipe into the furnace and gathers a blob of molten glass. Here, the feel in the wrist decides everything — one gram more changes the whole shape.
We gather molten glass from the furnace onto a blowpipe and give it shape with our breath while it's still glowing. Glasses, carafes, vases, and one-off pieces on commission — every piece is made by hand, not by mold.

Glass only forgives a brief moment when it's pliable. Everything has to happen in that window — gather, blow, shape. That's why we work fast and in pairs.

Air is blown into the pipe, the glass inflates into a bubble. Turning keeps it symmetrical, the breath makes it grow.
Using wooden molds, tongs, and wet newspaper, the glass is shaped — neck, base, handle. All while it still glows.
The finished piece goes into the annealing oven, where the temperature drops slowly over hours. Without this, the glass would crack from stress.
Glass is a craft of temperature. Too hot and it flows, too cold and it cracks. Between them is a narrow window where it obeys — and that window is what separates the craftsman from the tinkerer.
From a glass you hold every day to a one-off piece standing in a gallery window. All handmade, all original.
Functional glass for everyday tables — glasses, carafes, pitchers. Honest thickness, comfortable in hand.
Blown vases and bowls in color and crystal. A piece that holds space and carries light.
Artistic objects and custom gifts. Bring an idea, we'll melt it into shape.
Layering and swirling colored glass — from subtle tones to bold contrasts.
We'll replace a broken piece from a set or re-blow a missing part to match the original.
Hand-blown and decorated baubles — traditional craft for your tree.
We stand by the furnace, not by a machine. Glass is made here the way it has been for generations — gathered from the furnace, shaped by breath and tools that have barely changed in a hundred years.
We cook our own glass, mix our own colors, and guide every piece from glowing blob to cooled shape. What comes out of our furnace bears a hand, not a catalog number.

Yes. We offer try-out blowing under supervision — you gather the glass, blow your own piece, and take it home after it cools.
Usually yes. Bring a sketch or photo, we'll discuss what glass allows, and agree on shape, color, and price upfront.
The blowing itself takes minutes, but the piece must cool slowly in the annealing oven. We typically deliver within one to two weeks.
Because behind every piece is a pair of glassmakers at the furnace and a short window where nothing can go wrong. You're paying for craftsmanship and an original, not a mass-produced mold.
Yes, we color the glass and layer colored layers. We'll show you a swatch book — from subtle tones to deep, rich color.
Yes, for try-out blowing and for a specific piece. An ideal gift for someone who has everything.
Write to us with what you'd like — a custom piece, a gift, try-out blowing, or a tour of the glassworks. We'll get back to you with a proposal, timeline, and price.
