We heat the wax to the exact temperature so it binds the scent well.
We add the oils and pour by hand onto a centred wick.
We let the candle cure for a week, so it scents from the first light.
We pour candles in small batches, not by the thousand. I choose the wax, wick and scent so the candle burns clean and even to the bottom. Rather fewer scents done well than a shelf full of synthetics. Every batch gets a date and a number — you know when and from what it was made.
