House by the forest

A low house of exposed concrete and larch, set into the slope. Large windows frame the forest, not the neighbours.

Family houses, apartments and public buildings — from the first sketch to the finished house. We design a space that lives well, not just photographs well.
We are a small studio that leads every project from the opening study to on-site supervision. No off-the-shelf catalogue houses — each design is made for a specific place, budget and the people who'll live in it.
From family houses to public space. Scroll — the images change with the project.

A low house of exposed concrete and larch, set into the slope. Large windows frame the forest, not the neighbours.

Three small rooms became one bright space. We exposed the original vaults and quieted the rest into white and oak.

A house open to the water. The living space with panoramic windows follows the surface from morning to night.

A compact timber house for all four seasons. A small footprint, a big view, the warmth of wood inside.

A light steel-and-glass structure for a café in the park. The roof as shade, not as a barrier.
We lead the project the whole way. We won't hand you off halfway to a stranger — we're on the build to the end.
We meet on site, go through your wishes, budget and regulations. We say straight away what's realistic.
We prepare an architectural study — massing, layouts, visualisations. We refine it until it fits.
We draw up the project for permits and construction. We also handle the choice of trades and materials.
We watch over the build so it follows the design. Right up to handing over the finished house.

You won't recognise a good house in a photo. You'll know it in the morning, when the sun comes in exactly where it should.
I run the studio with a small team of architects who pull in the same direction. We'd rather turn a job down than build something we don't stand behind. That's why there aren't a hundred projects — but we know each one in detail.
