Scaling & design
We design the stop list and pipe scaling to the space and its acoustics.

We build, repair and tune pipe organs — from scaling the design to voicing them in the room. An instrument that breathes on air and sounds for centuries when someone cares for it.

An organ is architecture of air — bellows, a windchest, hundreds of pipes and the action that opens them at exactly the right moment. Every pipe has to be made, tuned and voiced so the rank sounds even. An honest organ plays for centuries; it only needs hands that understand it.

New mechanical organs designed and built to the acoustics of a hall or church.
Careful restoration of historic organs — pipes, bellows and case back to their original sound.
Dismantling, cleaning and repair so the instrument plays reliably again after years.
Tuning and voicing every pipe so the ranks sound even and clean.

We make the tin and wooden pipes and arrange them into ranks.
We build the windchest, bellows and trackers, linking the console to the pipes.
We voice and tune every pipe in the hall itself, so the instrument sounds at home.

I build and repair organs myself, from the scaling to the final note — not in mass production. I tune and voice the pipes by hand so the rank sounds even. An honest instrument can be dismantled and restored decades later; I know every pipe. One organ done properly beats three done in a hurry.
