Clean lines and fields of colour for modern interiors and doors.
from £42/dm²
Stained glass for windows, doors and skylights — coloured glass joined with lead and tin. I assemble every panel by hand, piece by piece, so the light falls exactly where it should.

A stained glass window begins not with the glass but with the light — how it falls into a room and what colour it should carry. I cut the glass to the cartoon piece by piece, join it with lead or copper foil and cement it so the panel holds for decades. No two windows are the same; glass is melted by hand and every sheet glows differently.
Four techniques, from clean lines to painted glass. All made to measure — size, palette and motif. Sample content; add your own work in your version.

We draw the motif at full 1:1 scale and plan the colours and the lead network.
Each piece is cut from a coloured sheet exactly to the cartoon.
We set the pieces into lead came or copper foil and solder them with tin.
We cement the panel, clean it and patinate the lead — the window is finished and weathertight.

I make stained glass myself, from the drawing to the last joint — not in mass production by the metre. I choose the glass by how it carries light and cut it by hand. An honest leaded window lasts generations and can be repaired — a cracked piece I replace, the lead I re-solder. One window done properly beats ten done in a hurry.
