Two hectares of purple rows on a south slope. We grow, cut and distil everything ourselves — and in season, the field is open to you.

Planted by hand on a warm south slope, row after row, each plant a stride apart. Lavender wants poor soil, sun from morning on, and no wet feet — the slope does the draining for us.
From mid-June the rows turn purple and hum with bees. We grow two kinds side by side and they are not the same flower at all.

Cut in dry weather, in the morning before ten, while the oil still sits in the flower. Bunches are snipped by hand; rows for the still are cut in one steady pass.
Steam rises through the flowers and carries the oil with it. What condenses is two things at once: a thin layer of essential oil, and lavender water underneath — we bottle both.

Distilled, dried and jarred here on the farm. In season at the gate, year-round by post.

Come in season and walk the rows — pick your own bunch, watch a still run in the yard, or just stand in the middle of it. Dogs on leads welcome.
Ask about the shop, a bulk order, or bring a group over — we answer within a day.
